This policy explains what personal data Voodoo Motorworks Ltd collects when you use voodoomotorworks.co.uk, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry or book a remap, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, your vehicle's registration and details, and any notes you add. We use these only to respond to you, arrange your booking and keep a record of the work. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and taking bookings, and taking steps to enter into a contract with you.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address (and name, if given) to send you offers and updates. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

When you check your gains by registration, your number plate is sent to our vehicle data provider to identify the vehicle. We do not use it to identify you.

Cookies and tracking

We keep cookies to a minimum. Essential cookies that make the site work (for example keeping the admin area secure) are always on. Beyond those, we use the Meta pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising, which sets cookies and shares limited activity with Meta.

The Meta pixel does not load at all until you accept cookies on the banner. If you reject, nothing non-essential runs. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf: our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider (Supabase), our email provider (Resend), our vehicle-data provider for registration lookups, and Meta for advertising measurement if you have accepted cookies. Each only handles what it needs to provide its service.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.
